Funny how things go...

one day you've one third place in a typography competition, the next day you quit graphic design.

what a day! I've decided to top studying graphic design from now on. I was meant to hand in one big assignment today (which i admittingly did a really bad job of, im not motivated or inspired) and the condescending look on the teachers face made me realise that is the face of clients to come. that and im not good at "colouring in between the lines". think it might have something to do with having to put my ideas into a metaphorical box, they don't fit maaaaaan

maybe now i can get a job, afford to have fun again and do my own creative projects without a black assignment filled cloud hovering over me

Im watching Julie & Julia, its really cute so far, I love Meryl Streep!

so its saturday! synonymous for going out my saturday is being spent "doing" assignments and being threatened to sit at the dinner table as we have a guest coming over.

is anyone here familiar with being obliged to join in when you have guests over and pretty much not being able to leave the table (even though you finished dinner an hour ago). awkwaaaard

 I cut my finger on chicken wire really deep today, and it's stinging like CRAZY! thought i'd share that with the world.

Spring

Winter isn't even half way through and i'm already excited for spring! We all need something to get us through the cold windy winter and i guess for me that's sifting through photos from my summer holidays and wishing i was on the beach in the sun. It's also good motivation to try and get healthy instead of just succumbing to the winter pounds (well kilos, but i watch too much american tv and so pounds sound more correct! that's a bit sad!)

happy humpday. for me its the end of the working week so im a bit happy! im doing assignments and a going to make a microwave mug chocolate pudding and watch some tv!

it is truly winter now as you can probably see from the above photo, my windows are like that every morning, i'd love to wake up and it be frost, but that'll never happen.

There are so many entertaining wedding shows on cable that mum and I love to watch. that and there are so many amazing diy wedding blogs. im far from getting married but i just love browsing through the blogs for inspiration, i want to get married just so i ca throw a cute garden party!!

i'm adament that im ging to get married under a big beautiful tree with things hanging from it, i've known that since i was 14.
