heaven!

Lately i've been developing into a domestic goddess, my latest hobby has been looking up and printing out delicious recipes. Lately i've been delving into the desert section... just look at these!!

enjoy, i know i will.

I'm loving these songs at the moment, the version of Silent Night is really cool and not screaming of christmas kitsch

Dear Reader

Im so happy to have been introduced to a beautiful picture by Fiona Christensen and consequently to a great band/song/video by South African band Dear Reader. you MUST watch the video below.

"But this shot is inspired by a brilliant South African band called Dear Reader. This song is a poignant song with a double twist. It is about apartheid and the seperation between the two races and how black and whites couldn’t be in love… who prevents love? It shows how hearts were torn apart due to the inhumane time in South Africa. White in the Dark…"

Redbubble has exploded over the last few years, there are so many talented photographers. felt like sharing some pictures to make your eyes drool

surf

now that the summer temperature's have kicked in, and the winter swells have hit Hawaii's North Shore I'm so keen to go for a surf. Problem being right now I'm an hour away from the ocean and don't have a car to transport myself and my board. The closest to this beloved sport i can get right now is sitting on the lounge watching the pipeline masters and hosing myself in the backyard (yes, i do that, why not.)

Oh and I'm going to hawaii again next July, the ocean is flat, but seeing as none of us can surf well enough to tackle their waves in our lifetime we'll just have to settle for paddle boarding on pristine empty beaches with sea turtles.
